BruntX ("we", "us") provides career infrastructure for athletes — helping athletes translate the skills built through sport into professional careers. • Account data — your name, email address and password (stored in hashed form) when you create an account.
• Profile data — information you choose to add to your athlete profile, such as your sport, competition level, location, career interests and questionnaire responses.
• Usage data — your progress through pathways, learning items and action plans on the platform.
• Contact enquiries — details you submit through our contact forms as an employer, sports organisation, athlete or investor.

3. How we use your data

• To create and operate your BruntX account and personalise your pathway.
• To respond to enquiries you submit through our contact forms.
• To operate, secure and improve the platform.
• To send you service emails about your account. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your profile with employers or sports organisations without a lawful basis for doing so.

4. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers, who process it on our behalf under data-processing agreements. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and row-level access controls, so that your data is only accessible to you and authorised BruntX administrators.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@bruntx.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
